He founded Auto Supplier Marketing, LLC, in 2002, as a joint venture with Bobb Chevrolet in Columbus, Ohio. Drawing on his vast experience at Compaq (now merged with Hewlett-Packard Company), AutoTrader.com LLC, and Dealer.com, Inc., Mr. Swickard, in less than six months, launched a web site, formed a 200-dealer network, and effectively built a multimedia company targeting niche markets across the country.
Mark Boyd Chairman and Executive Vice President Mr. Boyd, a founding shareholder of Dealership Marketing Services, is a pioneer of automotive e-commerce. In 1986, he co-founded Chrome Systems Corporation (formerly known as Chrome Data Corporation and acquired in 2005 by DealerTrack Holdings, Inc.). During his tenure as director and executive vice president, Chrome Systems set the industry standard in new vehicle data configuration and pricing software, became a leading automotive e-commerce company with the launch of Chrome.com, and in 2000, raised $24 million in new equity capital. Most recently, Mr. Boyd served as executive vice president for mergers, acquisitions, and strategic relationships for Dealix Corporation, which was acquired by The Cobalt Group, Inc. He helped Dealix raise equity financing and established strategic relationships with automotive giants GM, Ford Motor Company, Volkswagen of America, Inc., and other manufacturers. During his tenure, Dealix achieved record sales revenue growth, became the number one provider of new car internet sales leads, was rated number one by dealer customers in the J.D. Power and Associates’ Dealer Satisfaction Online Buying Services Study, and closed a profitable acquisition by the Cobalt Group.
Tom O’Ryan Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) A founding shareholder of Dealership Marketing Services, Mr. O’Ryan has more than 20 years experience in auto dealership finance, management, advertising, and e-commerce. He was a founding member and CFO of Auto Supplier Marketing, and has served as CFO for Bobb Chevrolet Co. in Columbus, Ohio, and National Auto Acceptance Corporation. His vision helped pioneer Bobb Chevrolet into the online automotive industry.
George Roberts Chief Development Officer An advertising industry veteran (George headed-up the interactive department at B2B agency Keiler & Company for several years), George came to the interactive world from a completely different background; Accounting. George received his BS in Accounting from the University of Connecticut in 1997. He then moved from Connecticut to Boston, MA where he worked for 2 years in the mutual fund industry as a Portfolio Administrator. This diversity of professional experience coupled with his skill sets allows George to perform his job very well.
Steve White VP of Product Development Steve White began his interactive marketing career with the launch of an internet start-up in 1998. From those experiences, he went to work for one of the largest interactive marketing agencies in the U.S., Blue Diesel, as an e-Business Consultant, where he consulted Fortune 50 clients on their online marketing strategy. From there, he became Vice President and Marketing Manager for Bankone.com, where he was responsible their online marketing strategy for the retail division of Bank One. Prior to joining Dealership Marketing Services, Steve was Internet Sales Manager for 10tv.com and OhioNewsNow.com where he grew sales by over 3,000% for WBNS-TV’s internet division in less than a year. Steve lives in Columbus, Ohio with his wife, 2 cats and dog. Steve graduated from Indiana University in 1994. |
